PT Sessions
1 to 1 Training
All sessions take place at a private indoor or outdoor gym, weather permitting. Sessions can also be provided on zoom where necessary. Supplementary to these sessions, training is delivered through the support of an app which provides custom videos/descriptions of all exercises to ensure safe effective results. Individual one off bookings start at £50 and discounted prices are offered for block bookings of 10 or more sessions (£47.50) and 2 x weekly sessions (£45) . Menopause Package
Sessions last 1 hour 15 mins.
These sessions are slightly longer allowing time to equip you with all the knowledge you need and practical advice on how to adopt the necessary lifestyle/diet/exercise choices during this time of your life and leading up to it. If you just don’t feel right and you can’t put your finger on why, or are suffering from low mood, anxiety, changes in sleep then you could be suffering from menopausal symptoms due to fluctuating hormones.
A block of 6 sessions includes an initial movement assessment, fitness testing and exercise programmes. In addition, Nathalie addresses all the lifestyle factors that are increasingly important at this time that will help to manage the symptoms of the peri- menopause/menopause. This includes stress management, nutrition and gut health, bone health, pelvic health, heart health, brain health and the right type of exercise. Where relevant Nathalie will also signpost to other health professionals/ best evidence based websites with regards to the HRT options should this be of interest.

Why is prioritising your health at menopause so important?
The average age of the menopause is 51, with the range being from 40-58 years for most women. The peri-menopause can last between 2-10 years before the final period. So for most woman from 40+ there will be changes physically and mentally due to hormonal fluctuations.
This course of sessions will draw your attention to all the important aspects of health that are increasingly important at this time allowing you to feel empowered to not only cope better with any symptoms you may already have or reduce the likelihood of you getting them. This phase in your life is also an excellent time to reappraise your own health and to reduce the future risks of heart disease, osteoporosis, and dementia – the biggest killers in woman over 50. This is due to the natural decline in oestrogen which is both bone, heart and brain protective.
For many woman life at this stage can feel overwhelming juggling work commitments and looking after both younger children and older parents. Looking after their own health often takes a back seat. This is a time in life where women need to re-connect with themselves so that they can nurture and nourish themselves. There are many simple life changes that you can make to improve your health status and the body is very responsive to these changes.
After having solely trained women at this stage in life for many years now, Nathalie has a wealth of knowledge of how to navigate this time and the relevant health care professionals that can help with regards to advice on HRT or other women’s health issues.
